Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Verifier service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Service Description

Verifier provides email address verification via MX lookup, SMTP probing, disposable domain detection, and related checks. The Service is provided as an API and web dashboard for individual and business use.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited commercial email, or any form of bulk unsolicited messaging.
  • Harvest, scrape, or compile email lists for purposes that violate applicable law or the terms of the source platform.
  • Harass, stalk, or target individuals — the Service must not be used to verify personal email addresses for harassment purposes.
  • Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures of the Service or any third party.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation (including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and similar laws).

5. Billing & Refunds

Paid plans and credit packs are billed in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. Subscription renewals are automatic; you may cancel at any time via your account settings or by contacting support.

6. Credits

Credits are consumed each time a verification request is processed. Credits do not expire on active paid plans. Credits purchased as one-time packs expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused credits are non-transferable and non-refundable upon account termination.

7. Disclaimers

Email verification is best-effortand not guaranteed. Results reflect the state of the mail server at the time of the check and may change at any time. Many mail servers use catch-all policies or greylisting that can cause false positives or false negatives. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verifier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with reasonable notice where practicable. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the dashboard. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
